The Northern Kentucky Education Council is the backbone organization for alignment of education initiatives in Northern Kentucky. The Council serves as a catalyst for collaboration, change and progress to attain regional education goals in Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton and Pendleton Counties.
The Northern Kentucky Education Council and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce proudly present the 2016 Excellence in Education Celebration Dinner, A Brighter Future for NKY: Powered by STEAM, which will be held on April 28, 2016, at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. This is the premiere education event for our region, and recognizes student, educator, community and business leaders for their significant contributions to education.
This past year, nearly 700 education, business and community members attended the dinner, marking this as the largest education celebration held in the Commonwealth. The awards presented at the dinner symbolize our region’s long-standing commitment to education and the vital role that educators and businesses play in ensuring our students are ready for college, career and life.

Do you have STEAM?
One of the ongoing initiatives of the Northern Kentucky Education Council is to survey and collect information from businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions to compile a listing of activities related to the areas of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Once information is gathered, the goal of NKYEC is to share this data with stakeholders to inform and align efforts in the region.
If you provide activities or programs related to STEAM, please provide information in the brief survey below. We appreciate your help!
