Educational Planning and Assessment System

The Educational Planning and Assessment System (EPAS) was developed by ACT to help better prepare all students for high school and beyond.  This system provides a new approach to planning for education, planning for careers, instructional support, and evaluation.  EPAS focuses on the critical thinking skills that students develop in grades K-12 that are important for success both during and after high school.

EPAS will:
  • Provide information about student's interests and eventually, career possibilities
  • Give teachers, counselors and parents feedback about student's preparedness for the ACT and success after high school
  • Provide an opportunity for intervention with students much earlier
Please visit the EPAS website and view this ACT EPAS powerpoint for more information.
